Radika is one of the most beautiful rivers in the country, also the favourite to the sports fishermen and to all who like clean rivers. Springs out on 2200m above sea level from Vraca. From the spring to the utokata into Debar Lake is 67km long. On the way receives four tributaries: Ribnica, Mavrovska, Zirovnicka, Mala Reka. Radika is a pearl among the rivers of the republic. Has clean, clear and cold water with a dark-green colour which is a result of the calcium carbonate.

The valley of Radika is one of the most atractive and vivid canyon valley of the country. For milion years Radika was building the canyon going through the mountainside of Bistra and Stogovo on east and Korab and Desat on west.

   Radika is the only river in the country which gives water into two junctions Adriatic and Aegean junction. Through kanals part of the waters go into the Mavrovo Lake and fill it with water, and fron here with ubderground tunels into Vardar were is build the hydroenergy power plant-Vrben. Through the ages the inhabitance of the valley were making objects of wood decorated with engraving were later the engraving reached a high artistic quality.

Curiosity of the valley is the folk unique architect of houses in Bitise, Jance, Gari, Lazaropole, and so on. The surrounding of Radika has a rich flora and fauna.

Directly on the shore at the junction of Radika into Debar Lake is the spa Kosovrasti, well for the healing of rheumatic sicknesses. The warm radioactive water of 480C makes Radika more atractive.
