- Reduce the use of detergents since they are a great source of
pollution of waters due to their phosphorus ingredient.

- Avoid buying bottles that cannot be returned or substituted as well
as cans from thin tin because it takes more than a hundred years for them to naturally
decay thus they just add onto the big heaps of waste.
- Do not throw oil, napkins, coffee and tea in the toilets because they
pollute waters but can also clog the pipes.
- Avoid using various "refreshing sprays" because they are
big pollutants.
- Avoid smoking cigarettes because every smoker contributes to air
pollution of the environment, especially in indoor premises.

- Maintain you car properly, especially the combustion parts because
that way you are preventing the emission of hydrocarbons.

- Avoid making noise with the motor of your car and honking in
residential areas because you might be disturbing the people, birds etc.
- Use unleaded fuel that is a lesser pollutant than the high-octane
fuels.
