Plant Your
Tree |
- Trees absorb carbon dioxide, the gas produced from the breathing of
animals and people and by cars and plants that use oil and coal for energy.
- Because of the neormous number of cars and plants, there is too much carbon dioxide in
the air. Billions of trees that have to absorb that discharged carbon dioxide have been
cut down. Thus, there are not enough trees to absorb carbon dioxide.
- Trees make summer months much more pleasant and cooler.
|
- Houses with a lot of trees use less energy for air-conditioning, thus
save up enery and pollute less.
- Planting trees is the best way to save the Earth. The tree will
reduce the quantity of carbon dioxide in the air, make the environment beautiful, create
more shades and attract wild life.

What You Can
Do! |
- If you do not know which tree to plant, visit a botanic garden or a
park where you will see various types of plants.
|
- The people who work in those kind of places usually have knowledge
about the trees, so you can ask them.
- Select a place with sufficient light and fertile soil to plant your
tree. If the drainage is big, the soil will be dry, and if the drainage is little, the
soil will be wet and the root might rot.
-
If you need more information on planting trees, talk to your parents, neighbours or
other expert persons on biology.
