However, the consequences of such use are: due to the fact that phosphates flow into springs, lakes etc. they cause algae to "blossom", however algae use up enormous quantities of oxygene needed by other vegetation and animals. That way the lakes and rivers might extinct.

• If you want to contribute to the protection of the environment, the best thing is to use minimun quantities of detergents or not at all. You can also find their substitute (for example non-phosphate liquid detergent). Or simply buy detergents that have the environmental symbol on the packaging. A good substitute is to use water in combination with soap and natrium carbonate for washing.

• Air-refreshners are toxic. They do not refresh the air, on the contrary they destroy our breathing system. Most of them contain chemicles such as xilen, ethanal, naphthalene etc. Just the naphthalene is made out of a 100% chemical harmful for the liver and kidneys.

• Markers are toxic. They contain harmful solvents such as toluol, xilen, ethanal. Solution: use pens and markers from ink on the basis of water.

Environmentally Friendly Fertilizers

• If you use fertlizers, first you have to get rid of the many bacteria. Use a special kind of compost to kill all the harmful microbes in the fertilizer and in the soil where your agricultural product will grow.
