The Aegean Macedonia costume
The costumes of the bouquet of dances from Aegean Macedonia differ from other costumes by certain elements of town's clothes. Namely, unlike other costumes, these include shoes (even high-heeled ones for women) instead of "opinci" (typical peasant shoes), women's dresses are not motley embroidered as other dresses, but decorated with quite solemn colours in a more noble manner. However, they also include numerous elements from, for example, the Vardar valley costumes, such as men's skirts (ajti), fur hats...
