The Eastern Macedonia costume
In the Eastern Macedonia costume prevailing colours are: brown ("becvi" - men's folk costume trousers, women's dresses), black (socks, fur hats), and white (shirts, scarves). Certainly, there is also the unavoidable red colour in magnificently knitted motley socks, as well as yellow and other colours in the embroidered sections of women's dresses. Today this costume is worn during the stage performances of the Eastern Macedonia dances' bouquet.
