This XII century monastery is located in Skopje. Its dating was determined in accordance with an original document. It was either built or reconstructed by Stefan Nemanja, presumably during his short rule over Skopje (1189 - 1190). There is a record about it in the history of his life written by his son Nemanja in the XIII century. There are no other historic sources on this monument.
