Komitsko oro (Rebel's folk dance)

The Rebel's dance (Komitsko oro) is actually a series of dances that depict the destinies of the Macedonian fighters for freedom during the five centuries of the Turkish rule, and also in the successive period, of the Macedonian rebels. Their life can be seen through the dance's pantomime, there are girls who help them as allies, accomplices, their struggle, and finally their inevitable death, the curse of the revolutionaries.
The rebel's costume is quite suitable for the needs of the fighters and is in the spirit of the Macedonian costumes.
