It is located on the southeast shore of Lake Ohrid, next to the monastery of St. Naum, in the immediate vicinity of the village of Trpejca. It was built in 1361 by the Ohrid peer Grgur, brother of Vuk Brankovic. As a donor the bishop of Devol, Grigorie, is mentioned. Among the frescoes there is also a beautiful portrait of Naum of Ohrid. In 1898 the monastery was demolished, and later reconstructed.
