Eastern Macedonia dances
The series of Eastern Macedonia dances is actually a bouquet of folk dances performed in the Eastern part of Macedonia, thus their name. Some of the common folk dances (ora) of this bouquet are: sopska petorka, kopacka, edinaesetorka, devetorka, and many others. The folk dances (ora) of this series fascinate by their speedness and demand extraordinary mastery and speed of the dancers. Costumes for the Eastern Macedonia dances are as beautilful and colourful as all other Macedonian costumes, and they geografically originate from the same region.
