The broad treatment of the frescoes' plasticity is clearly obvious in this liturgical icon that contains presentation of the Crucifixion on the reverse. Very similar is the concept of the icon portraying Jesus Christ dated 1262/63.
It is also characteristic by the broad eyes of the Holy Mother and Christ. Its painting manner is very similar to the one of the mosaic icons.
