Condition: The board is worm-eaten and broken in several places along the frame. It has a vertical crack. The plaster ground together with the layer of paint has flaked off in places. |

Iconography: Jesus Christ is shown in half-length. He gives a blessing with His right hand and holds a closed book in His left. He is dressed in dark-red hiton, hatched with gold, and dark-green himation. The background is gold. Within the halo, which is indicated by lines engraved on the gold background, a large cross painted in sky blue and vermilion; engraved tendril decoration. Conservation: Cleaned and conserved.
