Iconography: The Mother of God Hodegetria is shown in full length, with little Christ in her left arm. She is pointing to him with her right hand. Little Christ gives blessing with His right hand and holds a scroll in His left. The background of the icon is gold.

Conservation: The icon was entirely repainted, most probably in the 19th century. Following the removal of the repainting in the laboratory of the IPCM thorough conservation was carried out.
