28.5 x 47 cm. Mosaic on wax base on board. From the church of the Mother of God Peribleptos (St. Clement’s), Ohrid. Today - at the Icon Gallery, Ohrid. Conditions: The head and the upper part of the icon are completely destroyed. The other parts are well preserved. |

The icon used to have a metal frame. The board is eaten by worms. Iconography: On a large red cushion, placed on a throne without a back, Jesus Christ is seated. He gives blessing with His right hand and in His left He holds a large closed book. His feet rest on a low, richly decorated pedestal. The background is gold. Conservation: Cleaned in the laboratory of IPCM - Skopje. Not conserved.
