THE FOLK EMBROIDERIES OF MACEDONIA
The folk embroidery is a significant segment of the great cultural heritage of the Macedonian people. Created by the Macedonian woman – vezachka (embroiderer) it in itself sublimes the spiritual and esthetic beleifs prevailing on these grounds.  

  Through selected texts and photographs the beauty and diversity of these creations that document the ultimate artistic criteria in this area can be seen in this site.

Presentation of the national embroidery would not be complete without relating it to the folk costumes as it is an integral element of it.
