The Miyatsi Debar Ethnic Entirety The Miyatsi Debar ethnic entirety is located in the western part of Macedonia. It covers the river Mala Reka and Dolna Reka, the regions Mavrovo Pole and Gorna Reka (Upper River), the Debar Plain, Golo Brdo and the Debar Drimkol. The female costume of this ethnic entirety is characterized by the rich embroidered motifs on the sleeves of the shirt, usually done in the technique azhurna. It also has fringes and many upper sleeveless or short sleeved white clothing items, knee length, as well as other adornments. |
