The Folk Costumes of Maleshevo

The costume for the elder women of the Maleshevo region is distinguished by characteristic embroidery on the shirt, an even length, long sleeved vest anteria, a thin apron futa and braided ornamented socks. At the beginning of this century the embroidered applications on the shirt are left out and the dress anteriov is worn instead of the anteria distinct in its patterning and decorating.
