The Folk Costumes of the Lerin Plain The Folk Costume of the Lerin Plain attributes the costume of the Bitola Plain, but has characteristic distinctions in specific clothing items. The population of this region, popularly known as moshteni, kept its traditional costume particularly the female one. The female shirt made of a white homemade fabric has a distinct embroidery decoration - the crosses. The woolen clothing items the kyurdia (an overall), resachka and vlasenik are placed over the shirt. The waist is covered with a woolen apron (skutina pregach) and the head is covered with a white darkma. |
