Vasil Ivanovski (1906 - 1991), the revolutionary, publicist and historiographer; the prominent maintainer of the affirmation of the Macedonian national originality, freedom and nation - state; participated in the activities of VMRO (United) and the communist movement; the editor of the newspaper "The Macedonian Flag", "The Macedonian News" and "The New Macedonia"; he is the author of the significant works on the history of the Macedonian nation and state: "Why We, the Macedonians, Are a Separate Nation", "Macedonia in the Past and Nowadays" etc.
